Set on the harsh desert world of Arrakis, the game blends survival mechanics with large-scale multiplayer interaction. Players begin as simple survivors but must eventually rise to power, vying for control of the spice and the fate of their faction, whether they serve House Atreides, House Harkonnen, or others in the Landsraad.
"We’ve recreated the Arrakis from the books and films into something players can fully live in. We can’t wait for fans to experience the danger, beauty, and power struggles of this world.” Said Joel Bylos, Creative Director at Funcom. Talking about their experience with working on the game and how they are excited for fans to try it.

Future content will come in the form of full DLCs and free updates to keep the world evolving.
